On this Friday, the EGC sisters finalized several decisions through a vote. The process of voting was conducted by Judith Lynch, the General Secretary, together with the two scrutineers, Regina dos Santos and Halina Zientek, under the presidency of Sister Eufemia.
The decisions concerned various points related to the preparation of the 2028 Chapter: the number of delegates to the General Chapter, as well as the ongoing working document on the roles and responsibilities of regional superiors and councillors.
Several themes were also explored in greater depth including the topics and theme of the next General Chapter. The meeting concluded with words of gratitude addressed to our facilitator, Sister Piluca Benevente.
After this week of intense reflection, the EGC members take a break in order to begin the coming week with the life-giving impulse of the Holy Spirit.
