The EGC had the opportunity to listen to Sr. Janina TUSZKOWSKA, superior of St. Helen’s, to understand more fully the context and challenges of the welcome community at the ‘heart’ of the Institute.  She highlighted the importance of collaboration and information from the Regional Superiors to make the stay of a sister more conducive and memorable.

After the morning break, the assembly continued their reflection on governance and the future of the History Office. The members also spent time reviewing and discussing the Final Draft Statement of the EGC 2025.

The afternoon was a time of grace, prayer and pilgrimage through the Holy Door at the Basilica of St. Peter. As the sisters walked through the door in this year of the Jubilee, they carried with them the hopes and joys, the desires and intentions of the whole Institute and offered them to the LORD.
