With St. Anne and with the angels, let us hail the birth of Mary, the pledge of our Redemption; we do not merit to be the missionary daughters of the Mother of God, but let us say with St. Anne, “Give me, my Lord and my King, the light that is necessary to know Thy Holy Will and to carry it out according to thy good pleasure in the service that I must render” to my Immaculate Mother; grant that on the day of her birth I may be born again in fidelity and love.” [Blessed Mary of the Passion, Meditation 555]
