Here we are on the 7th day of our chapter journey. We begin the process of spiritual discernment, listening to the Spirit, who will lead us first to the election of the Superior General and then to that of the counsellors. It is a sacred time in communion with all the sisters of the Institute who pray for us and with us.
We are called to be in an attitude of inner listening, body, mind and will ready to seek God’s will for the Institute at this moment in history and elect the General Leadership Team for the service of the Institute.
We pray and share together what are the perspectives, what is the Spirit revealing to us about the Institute as a BODY in motion, open to new possibilities. Like Francis, we want above all to have the Spirit of the Lord.
Let us purify our hearts, to open ourselves to God’s desire for us…
